Mini Yarn Hat Craft

This craft is inspired by the book called Cold Turkey by Corey Rosen Schwarts and Kirsti Call. Mini Yarn Hat Craft is a fun and creative activity for the little ones. Once the hat is dry and ready, have fun with it!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Card stock

• Sticker Dot

• Two different colors of Yarn

• Scissors

Here’s What You’ll Do:

1. Use two sticky dots to close the provided cardstock to make a ring.

2. Then take a piece of string and fold it in half to form a loop.

3. Cover the ring with the loop on the outside.

4. Then, take the bottom of the string and go under the ring through the loop to tighten it.

5. Repeat with the remaining strings until the ring is covered.

6. Once covered, push the string through the ring to bring the string out on the other side.

7. Take a remaining piece of string and tie it around the bundle of string towards the top.

8. Add the pom-pom inside the hat to help with the shape.

9. Trim the additional string to make the desired length for the top of the hat.

10. Your Cold Turkey's hat is all done! Add it to your turkey.
