Sand Dollar
There’s nothin better than searching the beach for seashells and sand dollars. This easy beach-themed craft allows your child to create their very own sand dollar - a great addition to their beach collection.
Supplies:
Air clay
toothpick
sequins
sea shell
Instructions:
Roll your magic air clay into a smooth ball.
Find a cup with a flat bottom and press down on your ball to make a flat circle.
Using your toothpick, draw a star in the center of your circle. Be careful to press only some of the way through.
Next, still using the toothpick, make five random diagonals pressing through the clay to make slits into the air clay.
Now, where you drew the star, lay the sequins over the outline.
Then, take your cup and press again on the circle. This will flatten the sequins on your sand dollar.
Place your small seashell in the center of your star.
Allow the air clay to dry for 12-24 hours. Enjoy
