Shortly after he is born, Elbert floats up into the air. Before long, his mother must stand on her tip toes to reach him and toss toys into the air at playtime. While everyone in town, from the school nurse to the mayor, is full of advice for keeping her boy down, Elbert’s mother knows her son is meant to float. And so, she lets him.
But as life becomes more and more difficult for a floating boy, and people understand him less and less, Elbert has to make a decision: Stay bound to the ground or float higher in the hopes of finding the world—and community—he’s always wished for.

What are in your book & craft boxes?
Each book and craft box includes a carefully selected hardcover picture book paired with all the materials needed for one child to complete two to three book-themed crafts. Every box also comes with a monthly craft newsletter containing detailed instructions for all activities.
What ages are your kits for?
Our book & craft boxes are designed for children ages 3-10, while our Ultimate craft kits are perfect for ages 3-8. The level of adult involvement will vary depending on your child's age, and we always recommend adult supervision during activities!
What are the Ultimate Craft kits?
Our Ultimate Craft Kits are comprehensive creative packages that include everything needed for 6-7 themed crafts. Each kit comes complete with an instruction booklet, crayons, coloring pages, and activity sheets. We maintain a core collection and introduce new seasonal themes throughout the year.
Do you offer local pick-up or delivery?
While we no longer offer delivery services, we provide free shipping on all local orders and purchases over $50 - the discount is automatically applied at checkout. Local pickup is available at our store location, with items needing to be collected within 7 days of purchase.

Shipping is a flat rate fee of $8. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
We currently only ship in the United States with hopes of expanding internationally in the future.
Our current shipping time is 1-3 business days.
Orders from the weekend, ship on the following Tuesday.
Local Pickup
Local Pickup is available at our store location however items must be picked up within 7 days.
If failed to pickup within 7 days, the order will be fully refunded.
