Paper Plate Bird
This craft was inspired by the book, “When We Fly.” The little ones will get to create their own bird and design it and color it however they may like. It’s definitely a fun and creative craft for them to do!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Paper plate
Glue
Paint
Wings
Feathers
Fake Eyeballs
Here’s What You’ll Do:
First, take your paper plate and fold it in half. Glue the edges closed to get a half moon shape.
Next, paint your bird! Choose whatever colors you’d like. Let the paint dry!
Now you’re going to glue on the wings. Mix and match the fun pattern wings and feathers to give your bird a special look.
Apply eyes and beak. Apply one eye and one triangle on each side of the bird.
Now, take the rectangles and with the help of an adult, cut strips all the way up but not completely through.
Glue one rectangle on each side of the bird for its feathers.
Allow your bird to dry and have fun flying your new bird.
You’re all done! Super easy and quick craft to do with your little one. Make sure to share your craft on social media by tagging us @tyrannosaurustot or using the hashtag #totcrafts
