Rainbow Fish Suncatcher
Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister is a childhood classic. It also reminds me of summer. Your child can now create their very own rainbow fish and hang it somewhere special. Spend time observing the summer sun shining through your child’s beautiful rainbow fish.
Supplies:
String
Fish Template
2 Sheets of contract paper
Bag of tissue paper
Instructions:
Carefully unpeel the first sheet of contact paper, leaving the sticky side facing up.
Place your fish template on the sticky sheet, the white part of the fish facing down.
Add your tissue paper to the squares, tearing pieces off to fit.
Carefully unpeel the second sheet of contract paper and place it on top. Cut off any excess overhang in the shape of the fish.
Tie your string through the hole at the top of the fish. You may need to poke through the contract paper that covered it.
Find a window or sunny spot to hang and admire your new nature suncatcher!
