Tissue Paper Lollipop
This tissue paper lollipop is super easy and inexpensive to recreate and only requires 5 things, majority of which you probably already have at home! The kids will love creating this tissue paper lollipop, along with playing with their new creation afterwards.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Small paper plate
Wide popsicle stick
One sheet of tissue paper
Liquid glue
Glitter (optional although it is fun)
Here’s what you’ll do:
Fold the sheet of tissue paper over and over until you have folded it into a small rectangle or square.
Then cut along the fold line to cut out your squares.
Place a nickle-sized amount of glue at the top of the popsicle stick. Apply the popsicle stick on the back of the paper plate towards the bottom. Flip the plate over with the plate facing up, resting on top of the popsicle stick to allow time to dry.
Drizzle glue across the entire plate.
Start applying the tissue paper squares all over the paper plate and glue.
Once fully covered, make a spiral on the tissue paper using the glue.
Sprinkle the glitter over the glue. You may need to tap off and repeat to spread the glitter evenly.
Tap off any excess glitter over a trash can.
Let everything dry for one hour.
Once the lollipop is done drying, let the imaginative play commence!
